Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.
We believe that the early years of development are the most important as this is when children form who they are as individuals. Learning at Someries is done so through discovery, exploration and creation in a supportive and enriching environment based on the interests of all children. Creative learning and thinking are at the heart of everything we strive to achieve.
We are continuously developing a curriculum that is rigorous in the basic skills but also practical, creative and challenging.
Wherever possible, we forge cross curricular links and incorporate real life experiences that give learning a purpose and a create a curriculum that is unique and reflects the needs and interests of all children, families and the community of Someries Infant and Nursery School.
