School performance

Home Our journey School performance
The teaching of phonics is of a high quality. Phonics attainment at the end of Year 1 continues to be above the national average. By the end of Year 2, the proportion of pupils attaining at the higher level in reading, writing and mathematics is significantly above that of pupils of the same age nationally.
Ofsted, 2017

As part of steps taken to reduce the spread and transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19), all schools closed nationally in March 2020 and pupils did not undertake statutory tests or teacher assessments in the 2019-2020 academic year. The Department for Education did not require any school to publish educational performance data based on tests or assessments in 2020.

This page contains school-level performance data for tests and assessments undertaken in 2019 and will be updated in 2021.
